Our Complaints Manager is a cost effective software solution that is targeted at meeting public sector requirements.

The solution that has been developed is a web based one that uses Microsoft standard software (DOTnet2/SQL), is secure and is consistent with the Australian Standard on Complaints Management.

In terms of functionality, the solution:

* Makes it easy to receive complaints - by facilitating web based access as well as provide the capacity for any staff member to receive complaints by telephone, at a reception point or through the mail;

* Encourages a culture that welcomes complaints as an opportunity to improve services - business improvement is a core component of the system;

* Is a strategic resource to manage the complaints process - enables complaints to be managed at the first point of contact as well as for escalation where appropriate;

* Ensures that agencies are responsive, both in terms of the initial acknowledgement and in terms of complaint resolution - by making it easy to action, monitor, remind, report etc (using built in templates that are pre populated with data from the database);

* Maintains a systematic record of complaints and outcomes to enable monitoring of progress and analysis of results;

* Categorisation of complaints - with appropriate help/guidance to assist staff in determining 'when a complaint becomes a complaint' and how it should be categorised;

Risk Manager is one of a suite of software products that are targeted at improving business management practices, improving access to corporate information (underpinning better decision making) and ultimately supporting public sector accountability.

Specifically, Risk Manager assists the recording, analysis, tracking, monitoring and reporting of agency risks and in particular:

* Makes it easy to record risks - by facilitating web based access in a user friendly environment;
* Provides a structured environment in which to link risks - organisationally, operationally and individually and the potential to integrate with a range of business systems;
* Provides a structured environment in which to assess risks, including risk analysis, identification of causes and consequences and existing controls - and ultimately determine an inherent risk rating;
* Provides a structured environment in which to treat the causes of risks and ultimately develop targeted 'treatment action plans' reducing risk exposure and deliver an improved moderated risk rating;

What is this?
The Task Manager is one of the suite of office software packages to aid productivity and information management within organisations.

The Task Manager can be used as a stand alone product or as part of an integrated software solution with existing corporate databases or, for sophisticated and complete integration, with one of the suite of our companion products.

The base functionality of the Task Manager includes:

* Creation of specific tasks that can be routed to a single or multiple users and either concurrently or in a specific order;

* The capacity to add documents to a task (e.g. for document routing);

* Creation of task templates (i.e. for common tasks that are routed through the same individuals or groups of individuals;

* Integration with our other products to provide a single of source to access task information (e.g. where a complaint is received through our Complaints Manager, it is also displayed for attention in our Task Manager)
